Background info:

PsiloCybian strikes back with another master-piece of authentic Psychedelica! His second album on his home label BMSS Records "Godhead" is a tribute to the Gods of the forest. Right from the start, he lures you into a cosmic woodland, that transmutes track by track. Melodic riffs touch on the hustle of rock and roll, while "Mad as a balloon" is a chunky undulating track, enveloped in higher orchestral elements ending with a pulsating bassline.

It leads neatly into "I can feel my Brain". With a light touch of percussion, and elements that wind round and upwards the second track is an ascent into new verdant realms. Having defined the limits of this unfamiliar world, PsiloCybian teases us with an ethereal moment or two before taking us down once more, with deeper melodies, that echo in the background with various pads and effects.

Each track creates a sense of curiosity about what is coming next. In "Oddwood", we drift along, radiating outwards to the edges of our cosmic forest. "Godhead" the title track once again draws us upwards. Metallic atmospheres and a calculated, but experimental approach to layering leave us with a sense that we are perhaps, listening in on intergalactic transmissions.

Atypical effects push the limits of familiar acid riffs which combine, collapse and quiver back to life creating a sense that darkness is creeping away making way for the lightness of the last tracks. A must have for psychedelic grown-ups!

Before Time with Dark Nebula

Dark Nebula, known for quirky amusing sampling, and riffs that transition through the mid ranges to create prismatic atmospheres has forged sonic adventures worthy of any full on dancefloor.

Over more than a decade, he has imagined and released 10 albums and has been featured on over 90 compilations.

"Before Time" is Dark Nebulas first release on BMSS Records and a new addition to our fledgling canon of moon orientated EPs dreamed up for night time dance floors.

"Before Time" is a monastic soundscape, filled with stuttered bells, and vocal samples that gather speed over heavy driving basses pulling the listener out of bounds with haunting but subtle melodies.

Android Spirit goes Overground

Android Spirit happily present their first EP "Overground" on BMSS Records. The German based duo consist of Tickets and Daksinamurti who have been in the psychedelic scene for years. Last seen together on their collaborative album " Synthetic Organism", they return to deliver more music for maniac mornings.

The first track "Overground", an homage to early Goatrance, has a mechanical edge to it and a grinding dramatic character reminiscent of the times before Goatrance emerged from the underground, and was both recognized and demonized by mainstream media. "Overground" is reminiscent of the days when Goa was the Mecca of Psychedelic culture.

Track two is Android Spirits interpretation of the BMSS head, Boom Shankar and Soul Kontakt`s track Simulated Reality which came out as a blistering piece of crackling morning euphoria. The edit is smoother, flecked with psychedelic nuances, orchestral highlights and a reinforcement of mechanical undertones.

Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom are back!

The trailblazers of the late 90s, alongside X-Dream and The Delta whose innovative sounds pioneered a new wave of Psychedelic Tech Trance return to the scene after a decade. Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom (MOS) have produced 3 albums, numerous 12 inches, and tasteful remixes of other artists.

Sleep, features one previously unreleased track, and a remix by BMSS artist Datacult. The original version pairs layers of dark melodic enlightenment, subtle percussive atmospheres, pulsing drums, industrial sounds and traveling vocal effects, to create crisp new astral dimensions.

Datacults confident chunky edit involves low lingering basses that creep through metallic spirals of sonic barbed wire sharpened with punchy clear kicks. Both are effortlessly executed and future Tech Trance classics.

PerfecTone unleashes his full potential with Creepy

With previous releases on BMSS Records, PerfecTone returns with a two track EP "Creepy", a duo for morning or daytime.

His debut EP "Pray from Africa" was a clear hit on Beatport and paved the way to "Freedom" which came out in the summer of 2015.

"Creepy" drives forward with diverging mechanized sounds creating a multi directional space through which a symphonic mid section, and various chord changes create an inescapable sense of pursuit. Along the way, a child"s vocal sample meanders delicately through the track culminating in a final electronic melody designed to provoke a sense of "where are you?"

To the question put forth by Creepy, comes a solid answer, also at 145 BPM, "I am here". With use of mature vocal samples, "Exodus" is a pressing urgent reply that begins in the distance, yet within moments, you know exactly where you are. This is without doubt, a psychedelic soundscape shaped with elements of retro Goa Trance and made to move the crowd. Melody, ethnic instrumentation and progressive rhythms create a vast landscape through which we are led by slowly evolving vocals, layered over isolated accents and well timed tribal components.
