Shanti Gravity - The final Psytrance Festival in Asia

Ever been stuck on an island? Two and a half months ago I was invited to Shanti Gravity on Koh Rong in Cambodia as a surprise artist, closing this amazing festival with an extended set of mine. Little did I know and expect that first of all, there would be an after party I could play an additional closing set plus secondary a further boat cruise around the islands where I would be able to play on the crystal blue seas. One week of full power festival vibes featuring dope music, amazing and lovely people and all this in an out of this world scenery...a dream coming true!

And then the Corona crisis hit the world and left me stranded here on the island as all flights leaving the country were cancelled and all borders closed.

Now in the beginning of May, more than 2 months after the festival ended, I am still here on this archipelago and am more than just thankful to my friends who invited me last minute to this gathering. They are the ones who are kinda responsible that I am not quarantining in Germany but am having the privilege to still being stuck on this little paradise while watching this beautiful footage and can walk the festival grounds which are located just a few hundred meters away from me...

Sometimes life is funny and you end up in places you never thought you would stay for so long - but I am thankful and happy it turned out like this! 🙏

So thank you Shanti Gravity and Positive Beats family for all what you have done and for bringing the authentic Psytrance vibe back to Cambodia - it has long been overdue! This was probably one of the last festivals for quite some time and I am still feeling the vibes giving me hopefully enough energy to make it through the coming European summer.

Once our Psytrance culture will have a chance to be freely celebrated and cultivated again, I can only recommend to everyone to give Cambodia and this festival a big chance - I could not have chosen a better closing of this early festival season. Thank you to all involved and I hope to see you all very soon again - on Koh Rong or wherever life will reunite us! ❤️

The US producer was inspired by the notion of writing music for souls that have transcended into another world, and - true to his signature style - this is psychedelic music with a distinct heady and industrial vibe.

As a result, the release drags the listener to the darker side to face their own fears and demons head-on, before drawing them into a tech-fuelled climax by the means of the subtlety balanced grooves and modulated textures. UNI, The Papuna & Dopamine - Keiseihouou EP

UNI, the Papuna and Dopamine hit BMSS Records with a pair of slickly produced psychedelic collaborations. This Israeli-Japanese production combo dates back to a 25-year-old friendship, a time when Papuna was promoting parties in Tokyo. When UNI recently played at a party in Israel, the idea of a collaboration project came together - and what a result: a mind-blowing combination of Goa Trance inspired by their travels to India in the 90s and cutting edge Psytrance of the now.

"Keiseihouou" - inspired by the notion of spiritual training - is a driving and brooding workout, flush with hallucinogenic FX, monstrous gargling synth work and modulated leads.

"Back to Life" is a faster but equally powerful affair, this time motivated by a near-death experience.

Boom Shankar: Jungle Spirit III

3 years after the second part of my Jungle Spirit Mix series I am really happy to finally present you the third chapter.

2:22:02 hours of what I define as Psychedelic Trance featuring a high octane selection of my preferred trip advisors.

It was once again inspired by underground gatherings in the Malaysian jungle, Chinese meadows and the floating villages and bamboo forests of Thailand.
