As Luminous finalizes his forthcoming album Envelope Shredders, BMSS Records presents Digital Simulation.
Serving as the first installment of a two-part EP teaser series, Luminous takes the listener on a journey across two sides of reality: descending into the unexplored depths of the ocean while questioning the mysteries of reality that shape the world around us.
The auditory expedition begins with "Into The Deep,” a descent into the unknown, built around a deep, hypnotic groove that evokes the sensation of drifting along the ocean floor. The track unfolds with a slow, fluid progression, creating the feeling of being suspended in an endless underwater world, where the depths and mysteries of the ocean gradually unfold.
"Digital Simulation" takes its concept from the sample at its core: the idea that we may be trapped within a simulated reality and the possibility of finding a way to break through its boundaries. Carrying an introspective atmosphere, as the journey unfolds, that sense of escape becomes increasingly apparent, gradually building a sense of liberation pushing forward the possibility of breaking beyond the boundaries of the reality we know.
As the final track of the album, it brings the journey to a high-energy conclusion, driven by relentless forward momentum and peak-time intensity. A full-powered psychedelic finale built to ignite both daytime and night time sessions.
