Yan Gecko is the Artist and Dj synonym of Yan Krassowski, a 30 years old trancehead from Darmstadt / Germany. He discovered electronic music in the early 90`s and totaly fell in love with it.

Inspired by the german techno wave and pioneers like Sven Väth, Yan started to spin techno on vinyl on small private parties, but after discovering psytrance in 1995, the musical interests began to change. It took some time and further adventures at goa parties, mostly created by the mighty Nada Brahma Crew and Yan decided to spin psytunes in 1999.

In 2003 he organized some small partys with friends, the Gecko Crew, in Bickenbach with big spiritual success... The following years Yan played at countless parties in citys like Berlin, Frankfurt, Belgrade, Prishtine, Freiburg, Darmstadt, Mainz, Wiesbaden and many more... He was as well booked for smaller german underground festivals like the Gathering of the Tribes 2005 / 2007 / 2008, Freiraum Festival 2005-2008 or Fantasia Festival in 2008 which all took place in Germany.
Besides this, Yan Gecko`s sets also appaered on Radio broadcasts in Prishnine (Kosova) and in Wiesbaden (Germany).

Yan`s sets are always mindbending travels trough space and time with power and emotion, reaching from twisting twilight to deep and trippy morning sound. Most important for him is the connection with the audience; if the connection is right everything is possible... He is also producing his own sound and with collecting technical knowledge and equipment over the years he surely developed his unique style... Expect some blasting tunes in the near future...
